Frequently asked questions

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY? 

Due to the custom nature of our products, all items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. If there is an issue with your custom item, please contact us at acrylicsbyjl@hotmail.com within 48 hours of receiving your order and we will do our best to resolve the problem!

WHAT ARE YOUR SIGNS MADE OF? 

I strive to provide my clients with high-quality, durable acrylic signs that are both beautiful and functional. I use plexiglass, otherwise known as acrylic, and  permanent vinyl to create acrylic signs that are not only stunning to look at, but also built to last.

DO YOU CONFIRM THE DESIGN PRIOR TO MAKING THE SIGN? 

Yes! Each item is tailor made to your preferences, down to exact positioning, colours and fonts. Within 72 hours you will receive three digital mock ups to select your fonts and colours and request any changes. Once the mock up has been approved by you, I will proceed to make the acrylic sign. After confirmation, changes may be possible but this will delay the turn around time. 

WHICH PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT? 

Interac e-transfer is our preferred method of payment. All orders are subject to a 50% deposit at the time of ordering to confirm your order. Final payment is due prior to pick up or delivery. 

WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME? 

The turn around time varies depending on the type of item. For smaller items such as cake toppers and table top signs, the turn around time is 2-3 weeks. For larger items, such as welcome signs and seating charts, the turn around time is 4-6 weeks. For acrylic signage needed in less then 2 weeks, a rush order fee will apply. 

HOW EARLY SHOULD I PLACE MY ORDER? 

As this is a one - woman business, I do take on a limited number of orders per month. The earlier you place your order, the better, especially for wedding signage. I am a firm believer that your wedding signage vendor should be booked at the same time as your decor vendor. The earlier your signage is booked, the more opportunities we have to create large, unique statement signage to wow your guests and complete your decor!

Wedding signage is completely customized to you and your wedding decor. Of course, creating these large pieces take time. I suggest booking at least 4-6 months in advance of your wedding. Even if you do not know the exact design or colours for your signage, you can confirm your order with a $100 deposit and the design details can be confirmed closer to your event date. 

WHERE DO YOU SHIP TO? 

Currently I offer Canada wide shipping. Signs larger than 24" by 36" cannot be shipped unfortunately, they are local pick up only. 

WHAT KIND OF SHAPES DO YOU OFFER? 

The most common shapes offered are rectangles, rounds, arches, and hexagons. All acrylic signs are laser cut so any custom shape is possible. Fill out the order form to submit your custom requests! 

WHICH SIZES DO YOU OFFER? 

We offer a large assortment of sizes that vary depending on the type of signage. You can find a list of standard sizes in the pricing section of each page. If you need.a custom size, please fill out the order form.
